"Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin, yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these"
- Matthew 6:28-29
This verse challenges us to let go of anxious striving. Worry drains us but trust fills us with peace. The lilies remind us that our Father is not distant: He is near, attentive and able to provide exactly what we need.
Our call is not to figure everything out, but to seek His kingdom first and rest in His promise that "all these things will be added to you"
Matthew
6:33
Prayer:
Father, thank You for reminding me through the lilies that You see me. You provide for me and You clothe me with Your love. Help me to release my worries into Your hands and to trust that You are always faithful. Teach me to seek You first and rest in Your provision.
In Jesus name, Amen.
