I grew up in a humble family in New York. We didn't have much, but I had an obsession with scent that no one around me quite understood. Scented candles were a luxury we never bought, so I began making my own hand poured candles. I'd raid the kitchen pantry, mixing spices, filling rooms with something warm and intentional. Even then, I believed our spaces should feel like something.
